2022

Taeyin becomes a Lambda fellow.

Taeyin is selected to participate in Yanyi’s One World workshop.

2021

Taeyin is selected to partake in the Transatlantic BIPOC Mentorship program.

Taeyin’s short story is included in the Belief Anthology.

2018

Taeyin is invited to the third cohort of the Fornés Playwrighting Workshop, and their work is included in the stage reading at the Goodman Theatre, Chicago.

Taeyin’s work is included in Writing Our World at the Rec Room, Houston, Texas.

2017

The poetry manuscript, 집:jib, places Runner-Up in Kelsey Street Press's FIRSTS! Contest judged by Bhanu Kapil. 

Taeyin graduates from the University of Note Dame's Creative Writing M.F.A. program in fiction.

The poem, C-ration, becomes a Finalist in Kay Murphy Prize for Poetry judged by Myung Mi Kim. 

2016

The play, The Pink Pope, is chosen as one of two ND Theatre Now! plays in the 2016-2017 ND Film, Television, & Theatre season.

Taeyin is chosen as one of fourteen playwrights to join the inaugural  María Irene Fornés Playwrighting Workshop led by Master Teacher Migdalia Cruz. 

Taeyin receives the American Dream Grant from the Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts to support her creative writing.

2015

Taeyin co-founds a racial justice education nonprofit, co-heading it as the Creative Director.

Taeyin becomes the two-year Sparks fellow for Notre Dame Review.
